The quarter-finals of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar came to an end.
The competition for four games was ups and downs. The
favorite Brazil scored an advanced goal in overtime and was still equalized. In
the end, they lost to Croatia in a penalty shootout.
Team Argentina, which once led 2-0, although the Netherlands scored two goals in a row and was dragged into a penalty shootout, but they refused to repeat the "Brazilian" tragedy and narrowly won 4-3 to advance to the semi-finals.
In the bottom half of the draw, Morocco, which upset Spain
in the previous round, continued their journey as a dark horse. They scored

equalized the score in the second half with a penalty kick. Giroud scored in
the 78th minute to give France the lead again. Kane, who got the second penalty
chance, kicked the ball away. In the end, the French team made a thrilling
advance with a score of 2-1.
The Qatar World Cup semi-finals will start on December 13.
The 2014 World Cup runner-up Argentina and the 2018 World Cup runner-up Croatia
will take the court. The 35-year-old Messi and the 37-year-old Modric will have
a head-to-head confrontation; Morocco, the hope of Africa, will challenge the
mighty defending champion France team and hit the tickets for the World Cup
finals.
