Boris Johnson is in “isolation” after meeting the MP who recently tested positive stated BBC.
Boris is self-isolating after meeting Ashfield MP Lee Anderson who said he tested positive.
If Boris tests positive, it would be his second time to contract covid-19.
It is said that Boris spent about 35 minutes with the said Member of Parliament, Anderson.
Johnson via twitter wrote on Saturday, “Today I was notified by NHS Test and Trace that I must self isolate as I have been in contact with someone who tested positive for covid-19.
I have no symptoms, but am following the rules and will be working from No 10 as I continue to lead the government’s pandemic response.”
Boris tested positive for covid-19 in April this year and spent three nights in intensive care.
UK is among European countries that are most affected by Covid-19 these days. Accordingly, 24,962 new cases were confirmed on Sunday and 168 were dead from covid-19 within 28 days
