Rwandan singer and songwriter Chriss Eazy described his recent concert in Stockholm, Sweden, as a major milestone in his career, especially after Rwanda’s Ambassador to Sweden, Diane Gashumba, attended the event.
The concert, held on March 8, 2025, coincided with International Women’s Day and featured performances from top African artists, including Ugandan star Spice Diana. It was organized by DJ Mozze, a promoter known for supporting African artists in Sweden.
Speaking
to InyaRwanda, Chriss Eazy expressed his gratitude for the overwhelming support
he received. “I thank God for this
opportunity, and I’m truly happy. I appreciate my fans in Sweden for their
love. Having Ambassador Gashumba at my concert is another blessing because it
means a lot to me and Rwandan music,” he said.
The
concert served as a stepping stone for his upcoming European tour, which kicks
off on April 26, 2025, in Poland, where he will share the stage with Nigerian
star Joeboy. He will then perform in Paris on May 3, Brussels on May 10, and
other European cities throughout May and June.
Chriss
Eazy, known for hits like “Sambolela,” “Inana,” and “Edeni”, sees this as proof
that Rwandan music is reaching new heights. “This concert showed me that what we do as artists has a real impact.
It’s motivation to keep working harder,” he said.
His European tour is being organized by Team Production, a Belgium-based company that supports African artists. With his growing international recognition, Chriss Eazy is solidifying his place as one of Rwanda’s leading music stars.
