victory in the first leg of the Peace Cup quarterfinals. The match, played on
February 27, 2025, saw Niyibizi Ramadhan score the only goal, giving APR FC a
vital advantage ahead of the second leg.
Gasogi United had several chances to
equalize, notably a strong penalty appeal in the 6th minute that was waved off
by the referee. Alioune Mbaye also missed a clear opportunity in the 25th
minute, with Niyigena Clement making a crucial defensive clearance.
APR FC’s defense remained solid, with
