Gospel duo Ben & Chance, known for their soulful worship music, have released their latest album, Zaburi Yanjye. The album, named after their hit song that propelled them to perform in major cities across Australia, features 11 tracks filled with faith, perseverance, and gratitude.
The couple, Ben Serugo and Mbanza Chance, revealed that creating the album was a journey of dedication, prayer, and resilience. “This project was a path of faith, sacrifice, and passion, and it wouldn’t have been possible without our incredible team,” they said. They also expressed deep appreciation for those who supported them through prayers, encouragement, and technical contributions.
All songs from the album
are now available, except for Tamu, which is set for release next
Thursday. “This song holds a special place in our hearts, and we can’t wait
for you to hear it,” the duo shared. The album includes tracks like Abagenzi,
Kiganjani, Twaramugabiwe, and Panapo Upendo, among others, as well
as Ni Njyewe Ubivuze, a collaboration with gospel singer Aime Frank.
The title track, Zaburi
Yanjye, which dropped on January 26, 2024, has already surpassed 3.5
million views and garnered over 2,600 comments. Following its release, the duo
embarked on a successful tour, performing in Brisbane, Sydney, and Wodonga in
Australia.
Since their debut in 2016,
Ben & Chance have established themselves as a leading gospel duo, having
started their journey with Alarm Ministries. Over the years, they have released
popular songs such as Yesu Arakora, Amarira, and Mu Nda y’Ingumba.
Their influence extends beyond Rwanda, with performances in Canada and other
international stages.
In January 2025, they
welcomed their fourth child in Canada, marking another milestone in their
personal and musical journey. With their new album now out, Ben & Chance
continue to inspire many with their uplifting gospel music, cementing their
legacy in the industry.
