Gospel artist Chryso Ndasingwa has announced his upcoming concert, Easter Experience, set to take place at BK Arena on April 20, 2025. The event aims to celebrate Easter through worship and praise, making him one of the few Rwandan artists to organize such a large-scale gospel concert.
For the past 15 years,
Easter concerts in Rwanda were largely associated with Patient Bizimana, who
hosted major events featuring renowned gospel artists. Ndasingwa now steps into
this tradition, bringing fresh energy to Easter celebrations. His previous BK
Arena concert on May 5, 2024, made history as he became the second gospel
artist to fill the venue.
Ndasingwa, who ministers
at New Life Bible Church Kicukiro, has built a strong reputation through songs
like Ndakwihaye, Wahozeho, Ntajya Ananirwa,
and Wakinguye Ijuru. Reflecting on his preparations, he expressed
confidence in filling BK Arena once again, saying, “With all the effort I’ve
put in, history might just repeat itself.”
Raised in a deeply
religious family as the fourth of ten children, Ndasingwa always felt called to
serve God but didn't know when he would begin publicly. His journey started in
a children’s choir at Kibeho, and today, he is also a music teacher, offering
private lessons to aspiring musicians.
Beyond music, he is
completing studies in Theology and Biblical Leadership while holding a degree
in Social Studies with Education. His dedication to gospel music remains
unwavering. “I only create spirit-led music,” he said. “Gospel is different
from secular music—it’s a ministry, and our success isn’t measured by numbers
but by how God moves through it.”
With aspirations to
collaborate with top African gospel artists like Nathaniel Bassey, Ndasingwa
remains focused on using his music to spread hope and faith. “We can’t do this
alone,” he noted. “It’s through the support of our fans, media, and the church
that we continue to grow.” His Easter Experience promises to
be a powerful night of worship, unity, and celebration.
