James Rugarama and Daniella Mukiza, the celebrated gospel duo known as James & Daniella, are preparing for two major concerts in the United States. The events will feature the band that famously accompanied top Rwandan artists like The Ben and Bruce Melodie at Rwanda Day 2024 in Washington.
The first concert is scheduled for Sunday, December 22, 2024, in Arizona, followed by a second performance in Texas on Monday, December 23, 2024. Organized by Afro Hub Entertainment, the shows are part of the annual "A Night of Worship" series, designed to bring Rwandans and gospel music enthusiasts together to celebrate faith and fellowship.
Speaking
to InyaRwanda, Ernesto Ugeziwe, one of the organizers, shared the
lineup, saying, “James and Daniella will perform alongside Bonke and Kadogo,
with support from the same band that played at Rwanda Day. In Texas, they’ll be
joined by Meddy’s band, known for producing hits like ‘Niyo ndirimbo’ with
Adrien Misigaro.”
The
concerts will also feature Pastor Amani, a renowned gospel artist, who will
deliver a message of hope. Tickets for the events are already available on
Eventbrite, with organizers aiming to create a memorable experience to close
2024 and welcome 2025.
James
described the tour as a spiritual journey, saying, “These concerts are about
worshiping in depth through the songs God inspires in us. It’s also an
opportunity to connect with our supporters and share the love of Christ.”
With
over four years in gospel music, James & Daniella continue to inspire
audiences with heartfelt worship songs. Their upcoming U.S. performances
promise to be a highlight in their journey of faith and ministry.
