Gasogi United President Kakooza Nkuriza Charles (KNC) revealed that either Yvonne Chaka Chaka or Alpha Blondy will entertain fans during their match against APR FC in the 2024-25 Rwanda Premier League. The highly anticipated game will take place at Amahoro Stadium on September 23, 2024.
KNC made this
announcement while discussing the preparations for the upcoming match between
Gasogi United and Rayon Sports, set for September 21, 2024. He emphasized the
importance of the game for Gasogi, as they aim to stay at the top of the league
table.
Known for blending
football with entertainment, KNC is planning a grand event for the APR FC
clash. He stated, “For our match with APR FC, between Yvonne Chaka Chaka and
Alpha Blondy, one will perform at Amahoro Stadium.”
KNC, who has a close
relationship with Chaka Chaka since their collaboration in 2018, believes that
combining top-tier football and entertainment will elevate the fan experience
during these crucial matches.
