Celebrated artist and songwriter Mugisha Benjamin, popularly known as The Ben, is gearing up for his highly anticipated solo concert at BK Arena, set for January 1, 2025. This event promises to kick off the new year with a bang, as the singer confirmed that preparations are 99% complete.
Traditionally, January
1st has been a date for the iconic East African Party, designed to help
Rwandans and visitors celebrate the end of one year and the start of another
with joy and excitement. The Ben’s concert is expected to draw thousands,
especially youth, couples, families, and fans eager to celebrate in style.
The Ben last performed at
BK Arena in August 2022 during the "Rwanda's Rebirth Celebrations"
and previously headlined the East African Party in 2020. Hosting a concert at
BK Arena comes with substantial costs, ranging from Rwf 24 to 27 million, with
additional expenses for equipment setup prior to the event.
After two years of
performing as a guest at various events, The Ben’s fans have been eagerly
awaiting a solo concert. His upcoming New Year’s performance marks a
significant return to the big stage, promising an unforgettable experience for
his audience.
