For over 25 years, Chameleone and Bebe Cool have been known for their public feuds, despite occasional reconciliations. Their dynamic mirrors that of Rwandan rappers Riderman and Bull Dogg, who also had a history of dissing each other in songs but eventually put aside their differences.
In October 2015, Bebe
Cool expressed frustration over explaining his relationship with Chameleone to
his children, who were confused about whether Chameleone was a friend or foe.
This confusion stemmed from their tumultuous history since 2000, which included
trading insults in songs and competing over wealth and fame.
However, over time, both
pairs have found ways to reconcile. Chameleone and Bebe Cool even shared a meal
together in Kigali in 2015, signaling a new chapter in their relationship.
Similarly, Riderman and Bull Dogg set aside their past grievances,
collaborating on their joint album "Icyumba cy’amategeko," released
in August 2024.
Reflecting on this
transformation, MC Nario compared the potential of Chameleone and Bebe Cool
working together to the successful partnership between Riderman and Bull Dogg.
He emphasized the importance of collaboration in the music industry, suggesting
that unity among artists could lead to even greater success.
