Nigerian DJ Neptune, known for his electrifying beats and collaborations is preparing to release a new album featuring an exciting track with Rwandan star Bruce Melodie and rising Nigerian artist Bayanni. The album, which promises a blend of sounds and styles, includes the hit "Ta Ta Ta," featuring international artist Jason Derulo.
Neptune, 33, visited Rwanda twice in 2022, first for the "Kigali Choplife" concert and later for the DJ’s Battle Competition. During these visits, he connected with Bruce Melodie, sparking a collaboration.
Neptune praised the quality of Rwandan
music, highlighting its unique sound and potential for growth, and emphasized
the importance of African artists working together.
Bruce Melodie shared in a
recent Instagram live session that the track with Neptune and Bayanni is part
of a broader lineup of projects he is working on. He expressed excitement about
the collaborations and the different releases planned from both his and
Neptune's camps.
DJ Neptune, a prominent figure in Nigeria's music scene, has a rich discography including hits like "1,2,3" with M.I, Naeto C, and Da Grin, and "Baddest" featuring Olamide and Stonebwoy.
Meanwhile, Bayanni, signed to Mavin Records,
is gaining recognition with tracks like "Body" and
"Family." This upcoming collaboration is set to showcase the vibrant
diversity and unity of African music.
