Rwandan actress Umuhire Eliane has landed a role in the Hollywood film ‘A Quiet Place: Day One,’ joining stars like Lupita Nyong’o and Djimon Hounsou. This opportunity came through her UK-based agent who notified her about the casting call.
Umuhire,
known for her role in ‘Yoga,’ shared her excitement with InyaRwanda, stating,
“After two months of waiting, I was thrilled to hear I was selected.” She
emphasized that acting alongside such renowned actors marks a significant
milestone in her career.
Reflecting
on her experience, Umuhire noted the intense preparation required for a horror
film, including mastering fear and reaction scenes. She praised Lupita
Nyong’o’s dedication to her role, especially her transformation to portray a
cancer patient authentically.
