Paul Kagame, the FPR-Inkotanyi’s presidential candidate, addressed the alliance with other political parties, emphasizing that it does not signify weakness. On Monday, June 24, 2024, during a campaign rally at Ngororero District Stadium, President Kagame spoke on the third day of the campaign activities leading up to July 14-15, 2024 elections.

President Kagame began by expressing gratitude to the attendees and the supporting political parties, asserting that their collaboration with FPR demonstrates strength and determination. He said, "I thank the political parties here that have chosen to ally with FPR. Joining forces is not a sign of weakness but rather a show of strong will and power. When people unite, nothing is impossible."

He further elaborated that the decision of these parties to unite with FPR was strategic, recognizing that collective efforts yield better results. Kagame stated, "They realized that by working together with FPR, more could be achieved compared to each party pursuing their individual agendas. Unity leads to success, and we are here to commit to our shared goals."

Eight political parties, including PSD, PL, PDI, PDC, PPC, PSP, PCR, and UDPR, support Kagame’s candidacy. The FPR-Inkotanyi campaign continues, with Kagame scheduled to campaign in Shyogwe, Muhanga District, on Monday afternoon following the Ngororero rally.
