Renowned Rwandan rapper Malik Bertrand Ndayishimiye, better known as Bull Dogg, recently commended President Kagame, noting that gospel artist Israel Mbonyi is the only one attempting to follow in his footsteps in terms of fame, albeit with a significant gap.

Bull Dogg, a veteran in the Rwandan music scene, recently collaborated with fellow rapper Riderman to release an EP titled “Icyumba cy’Ametegeko”, featuring six tracks. The duo is now preparing for a joint concert, much to the delight of their hip-hop fans.

In a recent social media post, Bull Dogg shared photos from President Kagame’s campaign rally in Rubavu, expressing his admiration. He highlighted the President’s immense popularity, stating, “Papa Yvan [Yvan Cyomoro Kagame] is our Superstar; the rest are just playing around.”

Reflecting on the massive turnouts at President Kagame's rallies, Bull Dogg noted the impressive crowds of 350,000 in Musanze and over 250,000 in Rubavu. He then turned to the entertainment industry, emphasizing that Israel Mbonyi is the leading figure in music and entertainment, second only to President Kagame in the country. “However, in the country, the closest to him is Mbonyicyambu,” he added.

Israel Mbonyi has achieved remarkable milestones, including selling out the BK Arena twice, which has a capacity of 10,000. His song "Nina Siri" has garnered over 51 million views on YouTube in just 11 months.

Fans are now urging him to hold a concert at the 45,000-capacity Amahoro Stadium, as the BK Arena has become too small for his growing audience. Bull Dogg is currently preparing to celebrate his 15th anniversary in the music industry and is set to release a new album.
