Artist Victor Rukotana is going to start a program of traditional music concerts aimed at growing the lovers of Rwandan culture.
In a short
interview with InyaRwanda, Victor Rukotana explained that these concerts will
be held twice a month in order to spend time together and entertain in accordance
with traditional culture.
Victor
Rukotana said, "It's a show that will be held twice a month. In fact, the
reason for these shows is that people don't have a place to meet so that they
don't live alone in our traditional culture and that is also necessary."
These
concerts will be held twice a month, and will feature different artists who
will bring joy to the lovers of Rwandan culture in collaboration with Victor
Rukotana and Abamararungu.
Apart from
being happy and learning more about the Rwandan culture, these shows are going
to be a good way to get to know people who are talented but have not been able
to express themselves as the intention is to meet and teach the Rwandan
culture.
Victor
Rukotana told us that performing in these shows is going to be, he will always
want to perform, he will show that he has talent in what he does.
Its purpose
is to warm the elders, and help the younger ones to love the Culture through
Kutarama, reminding them of our Tradition, talking about the boats, and
bragging about the Heroes.
In these shows, there will be various activities including singing, dancing, reciting poems, naming cows and various other things that appear in the Rwandan culture.
