Black panther star Chadwick Boseman will be honored with a posthumous star on Hollywood’s iconic walk of fame.
The Hollywood chamber of commerce has announced that black panther star and academy award nominee Chadwick Boseman will receive a posthumous star on the Hollywood walk of fame. Boseman’s star was launched onto the Hollywood A-list after joining the MCU as T’challa in black panther in 2018
.
The
selection committee which is made up of fellow walk of famers carefully
hand-picks a group of honorees each year that represent various genres of the
entertainment world. Bosemen will be among the group of honorees in becoming a
part of Hollywood’s history with the unveiling of their stars on the world’s
most famous walkway.
Chadwick
made a lasting impression during his career, gaining several awards nominations
and awards, the role that will always be best remembered for is his powerful
performance as T’challa aka black panther in the marvel cinematic universe.
Black
panther passed away on 28 august 2020 at the age of 43 after a private battle
with colon cancer. He will be honored in the walk of fame class of 2024
alongside with marvel studios president Kevin feige as well as recent academy
award winner Michelle Yeoh and wonder woman star Gal Gadot.
