#Kwibuka28: Mango Telecom employees visited the Kigali Genocide Memorial

Employees of Mango Telecom society that sells 4G internet and other technological materials, visited the Kigali Genocide Memorial to honor the victims of the Genocide against the Tutsi in 1994.

This Wednesday on the 29th June, Mango Telecom representative employees visited the Kigali Genocide Memorial at Gisozi, a resting place for more than 250,000 victims of the Genocide against the Tutsi.


The majority of those that visited the Kigali Genocide Memorial were youth which is good, there were many categories of employees those in Higher authorities, Marketing, Call centre and those in the Technology sector.

They visited different parts where they were explained to a lot about Rwanda history before Genocide, during Genocide and after Genocide against the Tutsi.


In the building of memorial that explain the history with sound and image the visitors were explained to special history about the Genocide against the Tutsi in 1994, other Genocide that happened around the world and the part that talks about the kids who were killed during the Genocide against the Tutsi that they called ‘imbaraga z’ejo hazaza zatakaye’ in Kinyarwanda which means the future strength that disappeared.


The Vice President of Mango Telecom Niyomugabo Eric said they got the idea because they had to know the history of their country in order to do their part as Rwandan


After the visit they bowed down to honor the victims of Genocide against Tutsi in 1994 and they laid flowers on the graves
