growth—echoing Chinese President Xi Jinping's vision. Kagame noted that good
governance is fundamental for reaching these goals and ensuring that progress
benefits citizens.
The FOCAC summit focused
on strengthening China-Africa partnerships, particularly in trade,
infrastructure, and industrial collaboration. Kagame reaffirmed Africa’s
commitment to deeper cooperation, noting the mutual gains from past
engagements, especially in trade and industrial development.
China’s President Xi
Jinping, in his opening remarks, pledged continued support for Africa,
including $50 billion in aid and loans over the next three years, signaling
