WhatsApp introduces a “disappearing messages” option

This “disappearing messages” option will erase messages of both the sender and recipient after seven days but the recipient has the option of saving them before being erased.
 

WhatsApp is introducing a "disappearing messages" option that will erase chats from the phone of both the sender and recipient after seven days.

This is to help “keep chart private” as The Facebook stated. But still, it will not prevent the recipient to save by forwarding or taking a screenshot of the messages they want to keep.

This option will start by the end of November 2020. This is “to offer peace of mind that conversations aren’t permanent, while remaining practical so you don’t forget what you were chatting about.” Facebook declared.
