Sherrie Silver and Burna Boy’s dancers Perform at Coachella festival in California

Nigerian, Burna Boy, is a world-renowned musician. This Sunday 14^th April 2019, he performed in California at Coachella music and art festival.

Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is an annual event held at the Empire Polo Club in Indio. Dozens of global artists who have important names in the world were invited to this festival satged in the Unitaed States..

Burna Boy performed this weekend with a group of dancers including a female choreographer, Sherrie Silver. This group has helped him to entertain festival-goers . He echoed some of his songs like’’ Killin Dem ’, ‘’Dangote’, ‘On the Low’ among others.

Sherrie Silver wrote on Instagram saying  she was happy to be part of this festival for the  second time. She also posted the pictures of her dancing group. She said that Burna Boy outperformed after showcasing culture of Nigeria through the dance.

Prior to this agenda, an announcement of the list of artists who were to perform in this festival was released. Burna Boy wrote that he was unhappy with the fact that his name was inscribed in a way that it is not easy for many to see. He named himself ‘African Giant’ asking the organizers to re-write his name in away it could be visible and easy for anyone to read.

Burna Boy has spent days in a series of stages in #TheBurnaBoyExperience which has brought it to different categories. On March 24, 2019 he performed a major music concert in Rwanda at the International Conference Center.

This festival attracted  artists like Ariana Grande, Childish Gambino, Tame Impala, Janelle Monáe, Weezer, J Balvin, YG, CHVRCHES, Blood Orange, Pusha T, Playboi Carti, Wiz Khalifa, Kacey Musgraves, Jaden Smith among others
