Singer Tom Close appointed as Director of the Regional Centers for Blood Transfusion - Kigali

The Cabinet of Rwanda's ministers chaired by the President Kagame has made amendment in some public institutions. Tom Close allotted to chair the Regional Centers for Blood Transfusion (RCBT-Kigali).  

Real names Dr. Thomas Muyombo was born on 28 October 1984 to his father Eduard Karangwa and mother Faith Grace Dukuze in Masindi District, Uganda.Thomas came to Rwanda in his early years to finish secondary school at Kiziguro and Lycee de Kigali. Later, he went to the University of Rwanda to study Human medicine and get employed as a doctor at the National Police Hospital based in Kigali.

He started music career singing in a church choir and the first single ever he recorded alone is Mbwira in 2007. His work in the music industry kept succeeding and he got several awards that include the first annual Primus Guma Guma Super Star competition in Rwanda in 2011.
