Salax Awards has been recognized in the past years in Rwanda but it suddenly started stumbling until it was handed to AHUPA. They restarted the project and they gave awards in the night of 31st March - 01st April in Kigali Serena Hotel.
It is a ceremony that began with the mixing of music by DJ Ira and was led by MC Lion Imanzi. This event was supposed to begin at 7:00 pm but unfortunately it started at about 4 hours later than the expected time. It started at around 11:00 pm.
Though it began at a late hour, it turned out spectacular and the awards were handed to the winners. Check out the winners:
