A Gabonese Sports reporter who traveled to Rwanda to cover the ongoing CHAN 2016, bursted in emotional tears after being offered the 'never seen before' service at King Faycal Hospital based in Kigali.

The journalist suffered from intestinal illness and was taken to King Faycal Hospital based at Kacyiru, Kigali for medical care.

Coming at the hospital, the reporter who is little known about his name was consulted and operated, and he was thrilled by the way he was cared for by good-hearted and very caring medical staff, the situation to which he could barely hold himself and bursted into tears.

Speaking to Inyarwanda.com, Dr Emmanuel Kayibanda who carried out the operation on the Gabonese reporter could not give much information on the issue as we contacted him while he was busy caring for other patients in emergency.

Diana Kaneza, the Public Relations Officer at King Faycal Hospital, told Inyarwanda.com that the journalist worried as he fell sick on a strange land, but all changed when he came at KFH and witnessed the unexpected service.  Reports say that he even has gone back to the Hospital to thank the staff for such hospitality before he goes back to his native Gabon this Friday, 5 February 2016.
