The Chairman of APR FC, Brig. Gen. Deo Rusanganwa, visited the team to deliver a special message from the honorary president of the club, Gen. Mubarakh Muganga, ahead of their crucial clash against AS Kigali.
The visit took place on the evening of
Saturday, February 15, 2025, at the team's camp. During his address, Brig. Gen.
Deo Rusanganwa reminded the players that they still have a lot of work to do to
secure the championship title.
He stated, “At
this stage of the league, there is no room for complacency. There is still much
to be done because we all know what APR FC stands for. As our motto clearly
states, victory is our identity, and that victory is what we expect from you in
every match.
Look at the team
we are about to face and understand that the three points must come home. I
have no doubt that you are capable of achieving this because you have shown
great potential."
The APR FC Chairman also conveyed a message
from the honorary president, General MK Mubarakh. The message praised the team
for winning the Heroes Cup and reminded them that the league journey is still
long, with no room for mistakes or losses.
He also
emphasized the core values of APR FC, highlighting that the club has always
been synonymous with victory since its inception. Additionally, the Chief of
Defense Staff of the Rwanda Defense Force wished the team success in their
upcoming match on Sunday.
APR FC is
currently in second place on the league table, trailing six points behind
leaders Rayon Sports, who have already played their Matchday 17 fixture.
APR FC is set to face AS Kigali on Sunday at 6:00 PM at the Kigali Pelé
Stadium.
