The "Keep it 100 Concert," organized by beverage company Skol through its Skol Malt brand, is set to bring together 11 prominent Rwandan rappers in a showcase of Hip Hop talent.

Featuring industry icons like Riderman, Bull Dogg, Bushali, and Fireman, the concert promises an unforgettable night for fans, marking the first event of its kind dedicated to Hip Hop and celebrating the end of 2024 with a bang.

The concert, scheduled for Saturday, November 16, 2024, at the Kigali Conference and Exhibition Village, aims to provide a unique experience where Hip Hop lovers can enjoy their favorite genre with refreshing Skol Malt drinks readily available.

"This event was designed to create an exclusive space where fans can connect with the rappers they admire," said a Skol representative. Additional performers include DJ Kalex and Smooth Kriminal on the decks, while popular hosts Anita Pendo and Kate Gustave will keep the energy high throughout the evening.

Tickets are priced at 5,000 Rwandan francs, and each attendee will receive two complimentary Skol Malt beverages. Alongside the already announced lineup, Skol hinted at two surprise guest performances, adding to the anticipation.

The concert reflects a year of remarkable achievements for Rwandan rappers, who have been active with new albums, EPs, and sold-out shows, including the recent "Icyumba cy’amategeko" concert where Riderman and Bull Dogg launched their collaborative album.

Bull Dogg, known for his thoughtful take on Hip Hop, shared his belief that "Hip Hop is not about anger or rebellion—it’s a genre of meaningful messages that can bring people peace." Riderman echoed this sentiment, dismissing stereotypes that label Hip Hop as a genre for troublemakers. "People who see Hip Hop that way are simply uninformed," he remarked, adding that Hip Hop, like other music, is a powerful medium for storytelling.

For many fans, Hip Hop is more than music; it’s a culture of expression and resilience. The "Keep it 100 Concert" serves as a tribute to this vibrant art form and a celebration of Rwanda’s homegrown Hip Hop talent.
