Over the past weekend, renowned Rwandan artists Kitoko Bibarwa, Aline Gahongayire, Massamba Intore, and Denis Kanaka delivered exhilarating performances abroad, spreading joy to thousands of fans across different concerts and events.
Gospel singer Aline Gahongayire, known for her hit song "Ndanyuzwe," performed in Brussels, Belgium, on Saturday, October 5, 2024. This marked her first concert in the city as part of her mission to expand her music ministry.
Gahongayire
focused on her most beloved songs and expressed deep gratitude for the
overwhelming support from the crowd. “My heart is filled with joy. I saw the
love of God through the people who came from different places,” she said.
The same evening, Kitoko Bibarwa and Burundian artist Sat-B co-headlined the "Live Music Party" in Belgium. The event, organized by JC Enterprise, brought together Rwandans and Burundians living in the country.
Both artists entertained
thousands of fans, making it a memorable night. Kitoko, performing for the
first time in Belgium, captivated the audience with his engaging stage
presence.
On the same day, Massamba
Intore performed for Rwandans in Copenhagen, Denmark, at a retreat organized by
the FPR-Inkotanyi party. The event, which brought together 800 Rwandans from
across Europe, featured a night of discussions on Rwanda’s development followed
by a vibrant cultural celebration. Dr. Diane Gashumba, Rwanda’s Ambassador to
Sweden and Denmark, praised the event, saying it strengthened ties among
Rwandans abroad.
Meanwhile, in the United
States, Denis Kanaka and Burundian star Kidum performed in Atlanta on Friday,
October 4, 2024. The concert, attended by a large crowd, celebrated Kidum’s
well-loved love songs. Organized by Gorilla Peach and Afro Hub, the show was a
huge success, with fans of all ages flocking to experience the electrifying
performances.
These concerts showcased
the talent and energy of Rwandan artists as they continue to make their mark on
international stages, bringing the spirit of Rwanda to audiences far from home.
