Rwandan music stars The Ben and Bruce Melodie are set to take part in the inaugural ‘The Silver Gala,’ a special event organized by international dancer Sherrie Silver. This event aims to raise funds and awareness to support underprivileged children under the care of the Sherrie Silver Foundation.
Scheduled for September 7, 2024, at the Kigali Convention Center, the gala will bring together a diverse group of artists, models, influencers, politicians, and more.
Sherrie
Silver, originally from Huye and known worldwide for her dance career, has
promised an evening filled with performances, speeches, and opportunities for
networking.
The event will feature performances by Bruce Melodie and Boukuru, a contestant from ArtRwanda-Ubuhanzi. The night will also include DJ sets from DJ Toxxyk and DJ Sonia.
Hosting duties will be shared by comedian Nkusi Arthur and journalist
Makeda, while Miss Rwanda 2020 Nishimwe Naomie will lead the red carpet
segment.
Interestingly, The Ben will not be performing at the gala; instead, he will be one of the speakers, joining notable personalities like Fred Swaniker, the founder of African Leadership University.
Despite past tensions, this event marks the first time
The Ben and Bruce Melodie will be participating together, signaling a new
chapter in their relationship.
