Gospel artist Adrien Misigaro, based in the United States, has released the music video for his new song "Ya Majwi," the fourth track on his fifth album, "Ninjye ubivuze" which he's been working on for some time.
In May 2024, Misigaro was
in Kigali for a ministry trip and activities related to his foundation, 'MNH.'
During this visit, he also filmed the video for his song "Niyo
Ndirimbo," a collaboration with Meddy and children from the Sherrie Silver
Foundation.
Released on the night of
Tuesday, July 9, 2024, Misigaro co-wrote "Ya Majwi" with Niyo Bosco,
a renowned songwriter in Rwanda. Misigaro explained that their collaboration
stemmed from their friendship and Bosco's talent in writing worship songs.
The audio for "Ya
Majwi" was produced by Yannick, who also worked on the audio for
"Niyo Ndirimbo," while the video was directed and produced by BJC.
Misigaro plans to return to Rwanda this month for more music-related activities
and to visit family, aiming to release all the songs from his new album this
year.
Adrien Misigaro emphasized that
his new album's songs are unique, reflecting his experiences with God and
everyday life. He writes his songs in three ways: as prayers, as messages from
God to people, and as expressions of God's voice in one's life.
