Renowned gospel singer Aline Gahongayire has announced her first concert in Belgium, set for October 5, 2024. This event marks a significant step in her musical journey, aiming to connect with her fans in the European country. The concert will be held at Thon Hotel Bristol Stephanie, promising an unforgettable evening of worship and praise.
Gahongayire’s decision to perform in Belgium follows her recent trip to the country, where she shared the stage with fellow gospel artist Israel Mbonyi on June 8, 2024. The performance was a highly anticipated event, where he also showcased his new album, ‘Nk’umusirikare’. The success of this collaboration and her desire to reach out to her international fanbase motivated Gahongayire to plan her solo concert.
In an interview with InyaRwanda, Gahongayire revealed that her trip to Belgium was initially to support Israel Mbonyi and to finalize preparations for her own concert. The event is organized by Team Production, the same team behind Mbonyi’s concert, indicating a well-coordinated effort to promote Rwandan gospel music abroad. Though the guest artists for her concert have not been announced, Gahongayire assured fans that it would be a remarkable gathering of talent.
Aline Gahongayire, celebrated for her powerful worship songs like ‘Ndanyuzwe’, began her musical journey in the Zion Temple choir and has since become a prominent figure in gospel music. With six albums already released, she is preparing to unveil her seventh, eighth, and ninth albums to her fans. Beyond music, Gahongayire is a songwriter, advocate, and philanthropist, known for founding the "Ndineza Organization" to support vulnerable children and women.
