President Kagame engages in diplomatic dialogue with Rhineland-Palatinate State Leader at Village Urugwiro

In a significant diplomatic exchange, the Office of the President has announced that President Paul Kagame engaged in discussions with the leader of the Rhineland-Palatinate State in Germany, Malu Dreyer, and her delegation at Village Urugwiro.

On this particular day, President Paul Kagame welcomed Minister Dreyer, along with her delegation, to Rwanda, where they attended events commemorating the 30th anniversary of the Genocide against the Tutsi in 1994.

During their meeting, the two leaders discussed various topics, including initiatives aimed at supporting Rwanda's education sector, particularly the implementation of a new program focused on promoting humanities education.

The relationship between Rwanda and the Rhineland-Palatinate State dates back to 1982, marked by ongoing cooperation in education and healthcare sectors. Over the years, the Rhineland-Palatinate State has provided valuable support to Rwanda in improving education standards and promoting public health initiatives.

The discussions held between President Kagame and Minister Dreyer underscore the importance of bilateral relations between Rwanda and Germany, particularly in areas crucial for the country's development and progress.
