Real Madrid has got a new captain

Real Madrid has appointed Nacho Fernandez, 33, as the new captain, a move which comes following the leave of its former captain, Karim Benzema, who flew to Saudi Arabia to play for Al-Ittihad. 

Nacho Fernandez’s contract in Real Madrid extended to one more year until 2024, as Breacher Reports reported.

Nacho Fernandez was raised in the academy of Real Madrid when he was 11 years old and promoted to actual Real Madrid at the age of 13.

Nacho Fernandez who is a defender took over this position after replacing Karim Benzema who left the team to Saudi Arabia’s Al Ittihad, few days ago.
