Rwanda has agreed to host the upcoming FIBA Women AfroBasket finals which will happen from the 28th of July 2023 to the 6th of August 2023 in BK Arena, in Kigali-Rwanda.

Arena, in Kigali-Rwanda.
This agreement was signed by the Minister at Rwanda’s Ministry of Sports, Aurore Mimosa Munyangaju, and Executive Director of FIBA Africa Region, Dr. Alphonse Bile.
Nations which will come for the tournament are Mali, Egypt, Mozambique, DR Congo, Nigeria, Cameroon, Senegal, and Rwanda which will host, at BK Arena in Kigali.

Rwanda has
been well reputed to host basketball related finals, nowadays, from where a great number
of sessions of basketball finals have been hosted at BK Arena, including Basketball Africa League (BAL) finals which is still underway at BK Arena.
