On Thursday, July 11, 2024, Presidential candidate Paul Kagame addressed over 200,000 supporters at the Nyarutovu Site in Gakenke, expressing confidence in their continued support based on their shared 30-year journey. Kagame's campaign events will proceed to Gasabo on Friday and Kicukiro on Saturday.

Kagame emphasized the achievements of the past three decades, asserting that the citizens of Gakenke have every reason to back him in the upcoming July 15 presidential election. "I leave here with full confidence that everything will go as planned. I will return to celebrate our victory," he stated, with the crowd responding affirmatively.

Highlighting the importance of making informed choices, Kagame said that the progress made so far should make voting straightforward, but recognized that politics can be unpredictable. He underscored that Rwanda's history provides valuable lessons, and the country must continue to build on these foundations.

Paul Kagame also stressed the collective responsibility of Rwandans to ensure the nation's continued development. "We must do everything possible to keep Rwanda moving forward," he urged, encouraging votes for the FPR-Inkotanyi as a reaffirmation of unity and progress.
