Mushumba's departure from
REG BBC comes after the team brought in Nigerian coach Ogoh Odaudu as the new
head coach ahead of the playoff games. Reports suggest that this move led
Mushumba to leave, as he was previously holding the head coach position.
The coach, who had been
with REG BBC since 2023, missed the last three playoff games, which saw REG BBC
defeated by APR BBC. Mushumba now takes over at APR WBBC, which is set to
compete in the playoffs after finishing second in the league.
Mushumba brings a wealth
of experience, having previously coached teams like IPRC Huye. His new team,
APR WBBC, will face Groupe Scolaire Marie Reine Rwaza in the upcoming playoff
games.
