Rwanda women volleyball club, UTB volleyball club, made the first step towards the cup after beating 3-1 against RRA in a playoff match, played on this Wednesday evening.
It was the first
game of qualifications which moved the team to a closer step towards the cup,
if the team wins the next match, it will walk home with the cup of 2018-2019.
In their first playoff match, UTB BC upbeat 3-1 sets against RRA, (25-17,
25-17, 18-25 and 25-17), the match clocked 1h34 minutes.

UTB Vc won the first round as RRA scored 17 points, the second round also left
RRA with 17 points but they tried to win the third round as UTB Vc scored 18
points. However, RRA could not remain with the stamina since they moved
backwards to 17 points in the fourth round. The results left UTB Vc with total joy,
hoping that they will win the cup if they win the next match.
RRA players have a
tough job on 16 June 2019 to win third position
In a serious
battle for winning the third position, APR VC for girls whipped 3-1 against
KVC, (25-27,25-18,25-17 and 25-19), during the match that clocked 1h40 minutes.
Next matches
are expected on 16th June and 19th June 2019 when the
winner of the tournament will be announced.
