Meet Emmanuel Uwimana who seeks to become the top midfielder in Rwanda

Emmanuel Uwimana nicknamed Nsoro Tiote, Rwamagana District Born who is playing for Nyagatare sponsored club, Sunrise FC is seeking to become the top midfielder in this started season 2018-2019.

Uwimana left Rusizi based Club, Espoir FC at the end of the season 2017-2018 after finalizing his contract of one year. They finished 8th with 37 points in Azam Rwanda Premier League where he scored three goals and four complete assits with the club.

After completing his move to Sunrise FC, Emmanuel Uwimana is targeting to work hard ahead the season to reach the level of the best midfielders in the country.

“I always never take much time by thinking on many obstacles I met in my career including injuries and so on. By now, I am a new club with good players, we are generally taergeting best position in the league. Especially on me is to become one of the best midfielder in the Country this why I am working hard on it”. Said Uwimana

Emmanuel Uwimana known as Nsoro started his football career the time at which he was in Rwamagana Football Center before being scouted by FERWAFA technicians to their Football Academy (Nowadays’ Isonga Football Academy) in 2009.

In 2012, Baptiste Kayiranga recruited the Midfielder to SC Kiyovu for a half of the season 2012-2013 before moving to AS Kigali where he spent four years.

In his four years in AS Kigali, Uwimana met with a serious knee injury followed by a professional knee operation. After that, he got back in Kigali City based club where they sent him in Etincelles FC on loan whre he played a half of the season 2014-2015 before his return to AS Kigali till the end of the season 2016-2017.

Uwimana moved to Rusizi based club, Espoir FC where he spent one season 2017-2018 before signing to Sunrise FC a contract of two years where he is working under Justin Bisengimana, the team head coach.
