Cynthia Rupari, a Rwandan fashion model, represented Rwanda in a fashion pageant that set in Guinea Conakry.
Rwandan pride Cynthia headed to Guinea this last May 12th for the competition that was to take place in the country, located in West Africa. The fashion beauty pageant took place in “Prima Center salle de spectacle.”

In a talk the fashion model had with a journalist of Inyarwanda.com, Cynthia told us that it was at the fourth edition of the African fashion model show she was invited – by a social company called G.S.M.C.G or Groupement de Stylistes, Modelistes et Createurs de Guinee.”

This year’s theme for the competition was “La mode Guineenne pour la protection de l’environment.” Worthy to note that this was the first time women models were invited, for it was an all male thing prior to this year’s occasion. Also, it was the first time an East African model was called upon for the fashion event.

However, Cynthia Rupari was not the only one to appear on the grand podium, as she shared with two other winners – that form the top 3, from Nigeria and Ivory Coast. Please to consider the fact that this year, 30 models from 4 African countries featured.
