Rwandan defender Mitima Isaac has parted ways with Al-Zulfi, a second-division club in Saudi Arabia, after just five months with the team.
Reports indicate that the club decided to
terminate his contract after failing to get what they expected from him.
These reports emerged after Mitima Isaac had
been in Rwanda for some time, while Al-Zulfi continued playing. He has also
been sharing videos of himself training alone on his social media platforms.
The last match he played for the team was a
victory against Ohod Club on December 3, 2024.
Mitima had joined Al-Zulfi in August 2024 on
a one-year contract after leaving Rayon Sports, where he had played since 2021.
Although he is currently without a club,
there are ongoing talks with a team in Oman that could be his next destination.
The 27-year-old center-back began his career at Intare FA before moving to Police FC. He later joined Sofapaka FC in Kenya before signing with Rayon Sports.
