The Mister United Nations competition, held in New Delhi, India, from September 26 to 29, 2024, draws young men from various UN member countries. This global pageant aims to promote leadership, charity, and cultural representation.
As Dushimimana explained, his
participation was strongly supported by the Rwandan community in India and the
Rwandan Embassy. “I am deeply grateful to the Rwandan Embassy and my
compatriots here for their overwhelming support,” he noted.
Winning the title grants
Dushimimana a platform to represent Rwanda at the 2025 event in Florida, USA,
where he hopes for further online support from his country. “I trust that
people will continue to support me in the online voting round in December 2025,”
he expressed with optimism.
The title of Mister Elite
United Nations World lasts two years, which gives Dushimimana ample time to
work on humanitarian projects. “This title is a great honor for Rwanda,
bringing pride and recognition to our culture and talents,” he shared. He views
his role as a path to promoting philanthropy and fostering international unity.
Besides the crown,
Dushimimana received several awards, including funds for initiatives aligned
with United Nations goals. He will use this opportunity to raise awareness
