Rwandan film star Isimbi Alliance, also known as Alliah Cool, has been named among the honorees for the “100 Most Notable Peace Icons Africa” conference. This prestigious event, which highlights influential figures in various fields, will take place from August 1 to August 4, 2024, at the Kigali Marriott Hotel.
The conference, a first
of its kind in Africa, will gather leaders and prominent voices from diverse
sectors. Alliah Cool is recognized for her significant contributions to peace
and societal impact. Her inclusion on this list underscores the global
acknowledgment of her work.
The event, organized by
100 Most Notable Peace Icons Africa in collaboration with Peace Ambassador
Agency Worldwide, Davdan Peace, and Advocacy Foundation, aims to celebrate and
reward those making a notable difference. Over 1,000 participants from around
the world are expected to attend.
Amb Dr. Kingsley Amafibe,
head of the conference's execution, stated that the awards will honor
individuals whose exceptional work leaves a lasting legacy. The conference is anticipated
to foster knowledge exchange and connections, driving forward development
across Africa.
