Portugal international might face another suspension as part of the ongoing investigation into his previous club Juventus' bogus bookkeeping and transfer irregularities.
According to Italian journalist Paolo Ziliani, Juventus has
recently penalized 15 points following an examination of its finances by an
Italian court.
According to Ziliani, the punishment for the Italian giants
might extend beyond Italy and include stars such as Cristiano Ronaldo' who are
no longer with Juventus.
If Cristiano Ronaldo or any other player is discovered to
have falsely reported a lesser salary, they might face a 30-day ban.
Ronaldo was a member of the Turin-based club from 2018 to
2021 and might face this punishment.
“All members involved were questioned and admitted the
circumstances [as part of the investigation],” he said, according to
Sportbible.
Ronaldo left Juventus for Manchester United in the summer of
2021.
