Former US President Donald Trump has announced his bid to run for the country president again in the 2024 election.
On Tuesday night, Donald Trump told Florida that he would
run for president in the United States again in 2024 where he said, "We
have to save our country."
According to CNN, as
Trump spoke to a roomful of Republicans who expect him to face primary
challengers in the coming months, he also claimed the party cannot afford to
nominate “a politician or conventional candidate” if it wants to win back the
White House.
“This will not be my campaign, this will be our campaign altogether,”
Trump said.
Speaking to a crowd of people attending the Balls event at
the Mar-a-Lago building in Palm Beach, 76-year-old Trump said that the United States
has become a downgrading country
For millions of Americans, two years ago under Joe Biden
became a time of pain, trouble, anxiety, and depression."
"In order for the United States to be stronger and more
respected, tonight I declare that I will run for President of the United States
again," he continued.
Shortly before the remarks, Trump issued a statement to the
National Electoral Commission announcing his candidacy for the presidency and
setting up a fundraising account.
Mr. Trump's remarks return to a number of topics that have
been repeated in public, including border security, energy independence, crime,
and attacks on him during his tenure.
His wife Melania Trump, joined him and finished the word.
According to the BBC, the event was attended by a few members of his family
compared to some in the past, and his daughter Ivanka Trump and his son Donald
Jr were not found.
When Trump attended the G20 summit in Bali, in Indonesia he
was asked if he had received anything from his fundraising announcement, he replied,
"No, nothing really."
Trump's early announcement of the November 5, 2024
presidential election, appears to be a trick to steal the journey of those who
can compete to be elected to lead the White House.
Donald Trump immediately became the first to enter the
election and other campaign planners including current President Joe Biden,
former Trump Vice President Mike Pence, 63, and 44-year-old Florida governor
Ron DeSantis.
