Bishop Mbonyintege gave president kagame a pastoral staff which have a great symbol in the ceremony of installing bishop Dr ntivuguruzwa Balthazar as the bishop of diocese Kabgayi.
The
former bishop of diocese kabgayi in about 17 years, he gave president Paul
kagame a pastoral staff as in a way of thanking him of being a good shepherd to
Rwandans during the ceremony of installation of bishop Dr ntivuguruzwa as the
bishop of diocese kabgayi.
This
pastoral staff is also spelled as a crozier, it a staff with a curved top that
is a symbol of the good shepherd and is carried by bishops of the roman catholic,
Anglican, and some European Lutheran churches
The pastoral staff that was given to president Kagame received by the
prime minister Eduard Ngirente
on the behalf of the president.
