Lagos to Tanzania dance tour: Maikell Entertainer expressed his gratitude to the Rwandan dancers

In the interview with INYARWANDA Maikell who has worked on the project of the biggest music stars in Africa like Wizkid, Burnaboy, Diamond Platnumz, Joeboy and others, he has explained more about Lagos to Tanzania Dance Tour.

Maikell said:” The original idea we had was to host a dance workshop in Lagos but along the line we decided not to limit ourselves and touch some African countries. The Lagos to Tanzania Dance tour has a huge impact on dancers and the dance industry as a whole. The amount of people who have organised dance tours are very few in the industry and this tour has added value to the industry and at the same time  helped to train and equip dancers with new skills.”

Maikell added how he was very excited about the Rwandan dancers in her words:” Rwandan dancers are very energetic and down to earth, watching them is so uplifting and I love their vibe. For now I can’t promise to open a dance school but we would definitely be organising more dance workshops.”

Maikell gives advice to the Rwandan dancers too and testify that he  fall in love with the weather of Rwanda as well as the people by saying:” I enjoyed the ambiance and the weather. Rwanda is very calm and I like that the people here are very nice. My advise to the Rwandan dancers; is being theirselves, keep practicing, discovering their style of dance, and be consistent in putting out quality content.”

Usually Michael Emmanuel popularly known as Maikell Entertainer is a professional Nigerian Choreographer, Film maker and Fashion Designer. His place of origin is Imo state but he  was born and brought up in Lagos state Nigeria.

He has worked alongside Nigerian and international artistes like davido, burnaboy, joeboy, oxlade, diamond platnumz and many more. He has also performed on big stages like Turn up with Pepsi, Soundcity mvp awards, and headies awards.
