New York hosted this years BID International Quality SUMMIT Convention, where professionals and business leaders from around the world gathered to recognize excellence and success. In particular, the convention celebrated quality in the business and operations.
Award winners demonstrated commitment to the criteria of the QC100 TQM model which helps bolster customer satisfaction and cost efficiency across all areas of operation.
Among the winners, Jean Malic Kalima chairman of Legacy Clinics from Rwanda received the International Quality Award in the gold category. Legacy has made huge strides this year as a leader not only within its sector but also in Rwanda; the award came as an ideal way to celebrate this past year’s success while looking forward to putting quality first in the year to come.
Legacy Clinics kicked off its operations at the end of 2016 with the vision of leaving a legacy of commercially viable institution that makes a significant contribution to the Rwandan Health Sector for today and generations to come as well as to be the benchmark for service,quality,accurancy and ambiance in all chosen fields of operations so far it has more than twenty specialist Doctors from Rwanda and overseas namely doctor Bertin Njinou an urologist specialist doctor from France,and different specialities namely Cardiology,Neurology,Urology,Gynecology,Pediatrics,Chiropractics,Physiotherapy etc
Legacy Clinics has three main departments, Legacy Clinics: A facility with equipments used in treatment with doctors, Legacy Diagnostics with a laboratory equipped with diagnosis modern machines and radiography, and Legacy Dental which focuses on dental services on the high standard.
Legacy Clinics is planning to be a health service hub, by the end of next year it will expand its medical services in the next phase to provide highly specialized diagnosis and treatment rarely found in Rwanda as well as in the region which will reduce referrals to overseas.
This will reduce a great number of Rwandans as well as people from the region who fly to look for advanced health services abroad namely in India.
Legacy Clinics is not only known for providing an advanced health service it is also known for providing a great customer service with well-trained young people, putting the customer service philosophy first to show an empathy, to be attentive and assist patients with humility,to ensure that every customer is satisfied with the way they are attended to, providing accurate and timely service through the use of technology, listening customers’ feedback resulting in improved customer care,making every effort to assist patients receiving their due care with dignity, patient and confidentiality.
