The women basketball team of Uganda who are under 16 years have scored 63-55 points against Rwanda in the zone 5 tournament. Rwanda was beaten on the fifth day of the tournament as they were playing for the second time.
The Ugandan, Maria Majjuma netted 31
points whilst, the Rwandan, Munezero scored 17 points in the match. Rwanda is whipped
for the second time following Tanzanian who defeated 74-63 points against them
in the opening match, played on Monday.
Rwanda seem to be going backwards
since players like Hope Nyiramugisha, who helped the team to score 22 points
during the Mondays match against Tanzania, netted only nine scores in the match
against Uganda. In the meantime, Ella Umubyeyi of Rwanda scored ten points.
The captain
of Rwanda, Charlene Usanase is claimed the best backward defender since she
made 12 saves while the Ugandan, Maria, made 36 saves.
Rwanda reportedly
failed to communicate in the field and faults increased especially in the first
round whereby they made 5 respective faults which bid them to lose hope.

Uganda save 4 points from two matches after scoring 58-39 points against Tanzania and their victory against Rwanda. Rwanda only have 2 points gained during the opening match when they scored 63-74 against Tanzania and the match against Uganda.
