This Wednesday 20th March 2019, on international french speaker’s day, musician Kizito Mihigo released his new song ‘Vive and Pardon’ in French.
The French-speaking International Day is usually celebrated today and it is 31 years old now, Mrs. Louise mushikiwabo is now the general secretary of the OIF.
Kizito Mihigo, a fluent French speaker told INYARWANDA that his new song ‘Vive le Pardon’ was released as a way of getting close to French speakers. "On 20th March 2019, it is the International Day for French-speakers and I am also one of them. In order to participate in the celebration, I decided to release a French song which has a message to everyone."
Kizito Mihigo is among few Rwandan artists who can speak and sing in French. He has other songs in french like: “Arc en Ciel” and “Mon Frere Conglais”.
