It has only been 4 days since this little princess has been born and now she is bringing some chaos to the family.
As it has been announced in Global Publishers, the family of ‘Nasibu Abdul’ also known as Diamond doesn’t want the name ‘Latifah’ they want her to be called after her grandmother, Diamond’s mother Sanura.
They say that it is a tradition that the first granddaughter has to be called after her grandmother, and it is even good that she takes her grandmother’s habits through her name.
Sanura is the name that most of Diamond’s family wants his daughter to be named after, since Sanura his mother is kind, polite and social to everyone. Therefore it would be good that Diamond’s daughter inherits that from her grandmother.
On other side Zarinah Hassan also known as Zari, Diamond’s wife thinks the same, she says there won’t be any problem if her daughter is named after her mother in law.
Even though she says this, her mother also wants her granddaughter to be named after her since she’s the only daughter that Zari produced after her sons Pinto, Didy and Quincy.
After all that, some of Diamond’s family accepts that the new born baby has to be called Latifah as how her father wants. Because at one point they say those other names are not trendy.
Not only have that, but also Zari’s ex claimes that, the new born baby is his since they even looked alike. He went on and posted it on his Instagram wall with his picture and the new born baby, and mentioning to Diamond that the baby is his.
So what does Diamond has to say about this?
Without saying much, Diamond said,” I am so happy that I brought my daughter on earth and Latifah is her name”.
This is only in 4 days that it has happened, how will it be in a month? Or in years to come?
