Lisa Teta Cyuzuzo, contestant number 52, has maintained her lead in the Miss Black Festival voting for over two weeks.
The competition seeks to find the top 10 contestants who will
advance to the final round in Dubai, UAE, where the winner will be announced.
Teta has garnered 5,472 votes, consistently increasing her lead over the
second-place contestant by 200 to 300 votes daily.
Voting is conducted
online at www.missblackfestival.org, with multiple voting packages available.
Voters can choose from different tiers, ranging from 1 vote for 200 Frw to 150
votes for 30,000 Frw. Additionally, votes can be cast via a USSD code (*727*50*1*1*11), making
it convenient for supporters to participate.
Currently, Evassy Cyomugisha
(Number 57) is in second place with 5,027 votes, followed by Ange Rebecca
(Number 21) with 3,756 votes in third place. The competition is tight, with
other contestants like Mariam Uwase (Number 4) and Ella Darlene Byano (Number
34) also showing strong performances.
The Miss Black Festival,
organized by Imanzi Agency, aims to empower black women worldwide by supporting
their personal and societal development projects. This is the inaugural edition
of the contest, which registered over 400 applicants, with 57 making it to the
final pre-selection round.
