Future has gotten a fresh tattoo of Bob Marley on his leg, adding to his collection of legendary tattoos.
Footage of the Atlanta rap star's most recent tattoo session
went viral earlier this week. Future Hendrix is shown sitting on a couch while
a tattoo artist works on the new ink set.
During the session, Future is shown on a FaceTime chat,
showing his pal the work of artist Steve. At one point, Future says he wants to
add to his tattoo collection and can be heard saying, "put Take on
there," which appears to be a reference to late Migos member TakeOff, who
was shot and died in November 2022.
The Atlanta native already has an assortment of tattoos on
his body. However, his leg seems to be an essential spot given the tats he
already has there, including images of Dr. Martin Luther King’s 1956 mugshot,
the continent of Africa and the logo of Future’s label, Freebandz, all of which
are next to the new Bob Marley ink.
Future has been having a great start to the year. In
addition to getting a new tattoo, he opened 2023 by dropping the official music
video for “Back To Basics” from his latest album, I NEVER LIKED YOU. He also
embarked on his One Big Party tour, which kicked off January 7 in Houston and
ended on January 27 in Boston, and he landed a guest spot on Trippie Redd’s new
album MANSION MUSIK which was released earlier this month.
One of the biggest moments with Future this year came when
he teased that a joint album with Metro Boomin was on the way.
